NAST

The National Association of State Treasurers (NAST ) leads ABLE today which substantially coordinates with state ABLE programs. The focus of ABLE today will be on expanding and deploying strategies to market, educating the public, and conducting meaningful outreach for all ABLE programs. ABLE today is focused on laying the groundwork for success for every ABLE program, no matter its size or financial capability. For ABLE to succeed, we must make its potential impact known to people with disabilities and national stakeholders.

Strengthening the entire ABLE landscape and providing resources to ABLE programs across the country will allow ABLE to become a national tool for the financial empowerment of people with disabilities. All ABLE programs will be represented by this national campaign. ABLE today will be providing programs with resources, enrollment opportunities, and stakeholder engagement. For states that currently have outreach staff, this will complement their resources; for states that have limited outreach staff, this will instantly provide much needed ABLE support.

ABLE today will collaborate with strategic partners including national disability organizations, disability support service providers, and corporations. We will also work with diverse representatives from non-profits, family organizations, veterans’ groups, educators, financial institutions, legal professionals, financial service providers, and others.
