The ABLE CLE course includes voiceover, closed captions, and course slides. Also included is a course outline that is screenreader friendly and with large font.

ABLE CLE offered through the DC Bar:
Hosting through the DC Bar enables our ABLE CLE to be offered throughout the country, and DC Bar CLE courses are accredited in every jurisdiction with Continuing Legal Education requirements. A Certification of Attendance will be provided to participants following the completion of the ABLE CLE.

Description: 
Don’t miss this thought-provoking and informative class that provides an overview on how ABLE accounts can positively impact people with disabilities, their families, and their caregivers. Our knowledgeable faculty will also provide the statutory background on ABLE accounts and will explain eligibility requirements, account management, contribution limits, qualified expenses, tax rules, and interactions with benefits programs (such as SSI and Medicaid). Finally, the class will provide practice pointers for the usage of ABLE accounts, including working in conjunction with special needs trusts.
