State Tax Incentives

The following individuals can receive a state tax deduction for up to $3,000 annually of the amount contributed to the ABLE account:

  • Owner of the account

  • A spouse

  • A child or stepchild who is a Montana resident

  • A parent or step-parent

  • A grandparent

  • A sibling of the account owner
