The Austin Lighthouse for the Blind along with the U.S. AbilityOne Commission recently hosted a networking meeting for personnel and employers within the blind and visually impaired community.

Kim Zeich, Executive Director for the U.S. AbilityOne Commission, and Anna Mallett, Outreach Specialist for the Texas ABLE Program, presented details on ABLE accounts to staff from the National Industries for the Blind - Texas. Attendees were very eager to learn more about ABLE and how to offer more information to employees. ABLE today and Texas ABLE will continue to foster relationships with the AbilityOne network to promote the exchange of information about ABLE accounts, financial education and empowerment for Texans with disabilities.
